Hi! I’m Josh.

Now

Past

  • In 2023, I completed my Masters of Arts in Political Science from McGill University, supervised by Daniel Béland. At McGill, I worked for/at:

  • In 2023, I was Policy and Public Affairs Fellow at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.

  • In 2022, I worked at the Ville de Montréal as an Intern, Ecological Transition. I worked for the Arrondissement du Sud-Ouest on projects including the creation of an ecological corridor, a participatory budget, and a local sustainable mobility plan.

  • Previously, I worked as the Pembina Institutes Digital Communications Specialist, where I leveraged the collective power of the organization's digital channels to ensure its thorough, respected research reached the audience it needed to transform Canada’s energy industries. I brought a robust understanding of Canada’s energy policy contexts in addition to a passion for policy communications.

  • I worked in the private sector as the Communications Manager for the public transit technology start-up Blaise Transit and as the Program Assistant for the Canadian International Resources and Development Institute (CIRDI).

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Geography (double major) from the University of British Columbia.
